Change of face at Place dance school

KENNETH Tharp has been appointed chief executive of the dance school Place.
Mr Tharp was one of the outstanding dancers of his generation.
He was awarded an OBE in 2003and gave his farewell dance at the Place in Bloomsbury.
He said: “I had the huge privilege of experiencing first-hand the pioneering influences of giants like Robin Howard and Robert Cohan.”
