CROFT Productions specialises in pared down classics with characters who change at the drop of a hat.
Their latest project is The Micawbers at the King’s Head Theatre next Monday (June 11) – an intriguing adaptation of the Dickens classic, David Copperfield. The play explores the developing relationship between the young David Copperfield, Mr William Micawber and his wife.

ON Friday (tomorrow), Hampstead
Theatre is offering the first 99 tickets sold on the door for Taking Care of Baby for 99p. The play is the latest offering from Dennis Kelly and tackles the case of Donna Mc
Auliffe, a young
mother convicted of the murder of her two infant children.

POLITICAL activist and comedian Mark Thomas brings his show As Used on the Famous Nelson Mandela to the Tricyle Theatre from Monday. It’s a funny, disturbing story of his rampage through the arms trade using a fairly flimsy disguise and some worryingly poor accents.
