DO you remember all that hoohah about Sir Geldof’s Live Eight show, which was all about Africa, but had no African acts on the mainstage?
They were shunted off to somewhere in the sticks, and televised on BBC2 way after midnight.
Well, here’s your chance to catch some of Africa’s legendary acts, including Master Drummers of Africa and Cheikh Lo.
If you’ve never heard of them – and lets face it, it’s possible, then its doubly worth getting down there.
It will be a bit different, and you might not like everything, but it’s guaranteed that you’ll leave with wider horizons and a sense of achievement.
