Once In A Lifetime
WITH the World Cup upon us, and Pelé in town to promote his new book, what better time than to release a football documentary?
Once In A Life Time traces the rise and fall of the new York Cosmos, the all-star team that was set to take the beautiful game to the Americans.
They were supposedly the football version of the Harlem Globetrotters, but in reality the members were mainly athletes past their prime who saw the North American Football League as a series of exhibition style football matches that would feather a retirement nest.
Waiting
THIS is one of those flicks that come in under the ‘teen comedy’ genre and use gags about bodily hygiene to raise a giggle.
Waiting is about the staff of a 24-hour restaurant and their antics will make you feel ill. However, for the young and downtrodden earning a minimum wage in the catering industry, the jokes about the boredom of kitchen work may be too close to home could be hard to find funny.
