Demo of
the Week - The Marshalls
THIS rocky threesome supported The Automatic at Barfly a
couple of weeks ago, but my crystal ball tells me that in a
year they’ll be so big even their opening act will be famous.
And fag and beer prices will have gone up too.
(If I’m wrong about the Marshals then one out of two ain’t
bad).
After hearing their ace punchy single Make Her Cry – one
of the most exciting CDs to land in my lap in ages – I
now am suffering a nail-biting wait for their debut album, to
be released early this summer.
Produced by John Cornfield, music guru to Oasis, Muse and Razorlight,
I want it, I want it, I want it!
Oh, and they were described by some bloke at the Irish Times
as: “Superb… quite simply, probably the best band
in Ireland right now.”
