the week Delilahs
WHAT’S Switzerland’s best export? Chocolate!
I hear you cry, but you’d be wrong (well, not really, but
I’m going for emphasis here).
Equally tasty are the Delilahs. A three-piece girl group from
the country of snow-peaked mountains, the schoolmates have already
supported Stereophonics.
Sounding like a cross-between Blondie and that woman saying
“I want money” on Dead Or Alive’s You Spin Me
Round, frontwoman and songwriter Muriel Rhyner shouts out: “I’m
going down, this is it!” Is she on a scary ride at the
fair?
The electro cut of their single This Is It would have even hardened
‘I don’t dance’ types pumping their fists.
This Is It is released on March 6 and they will be appearing
on the Camden Crawl on April 20.
