Chance to get back in the string of things
FROM personal experience, I know how easy it is to allow piano practice to drift, letting work and all sorts of pressures to take precedence.
It can be so frustrating and lapsed musicians can always do with a kick up the backside, getting some encouragement to re-engage with practice.
An ensemble group in Highbury wants to give string players the opportunity to take up extra practice and the chance to play with others. The Highbury Strings practice every Sunday, at the Highbury Roundhouse, in Ronalds Road, and are eager for new members.
