HAVING played lots of solo gigs last year, the Manic Street Preachers are back and playing their first gig in ages together.
First up they are at the Forum before going on to the Astoria in May – tickets are available now so get your cheque book out.
Meanwhile the All Saints girls were doing themselves proud At Proud in Stables market on Monday, when they were the pretty faces to launch the Cancer Research Sound and Vision 2007 auction (see news section, page 10).
Although they weren’t doing any interviews they seemed nice. Gene, child of Nicole and Liam, was causing mischief and insisted on being in the press shots.
The Shockwaves NME Tour is in full flow now, but as is the case with gigs in small venues, they are mostly sold out and there are still just a few to available.
Tickets are available for Howling Bells at Koko, The Young Knives at Shepherd’s Bush Empire, ¡Forward, Russia! at Koko, and the Spinto Band at Koko tonight (Thursday). |
