Be adventurous for Valentine's

St John’s
FOR those wanting to be a little more adventurous for Valentine’s
Day this year, there are two concerts that should be excellent
at St John’s Smith Square and St Martin-in-the-Fields.
At St John’s soprano, Lorna Anderson and oboist Gail Hennessy
perform Vivaldi’s Concerto Madrigalesco, Bach’s Oboe
d’Amore Concerto, Scarlatti’s Canata Piangete, occhi
dolente and Albinoni’s Oboe Concert in D Minor.
While at St Martin’s, the celebrated London Music Arts
Strings Orchestra present a programme featuring Boccherini’s
Minuet and Tchaikovsky’s Serenade.
