WOW! So many things to do, things to see. Everyone’s out of the woodwork my friends.
–the Hot Puppies headline show at The Borderline in Tottenham Court Road area, February 8.
Another one, a while away but still – Piney Gir and Peter and the Wolf, also at Borderline, in March.
And last but not least, the Magic Numbers will be returning to their favourite venue, Kentish Town’s Forum in February. Giving you a heads up so get booking!
And most exciting of all – The Brit Awards are being held in Earl’s Court on Valentine’s Day no less – which is obviously Feb 14, all you non-romantics.
Amy Winehouse, Guillemots and Lily Allen are the notable locals, while The Kooks and James Morrison deserve a pat on the back for scoring nominations in Best Breakthrough Act.
Oasis, all ’90s teenagers’ favourite band, will be given an award for their contribution to music. Does this mean they’re past it?
Watch out for a fuller preview of the Brits – as well as a chance to win a pair of tickets to pop music’s biggest night out – in next week’s Grooves. |
