Get involved with music
AMATEUR choirs, orchestras, opera companies, jazz groups and ensembles are the lifeblood of music in this country, giving the opportunity to thousands of musicians to pursue their passion for classical music.
Now I want to hear from these organisations about what they do for a new occasional column about amateur music organisations in Camden, Islington and Westminster.
Email me with details of how people can join your choir, orchestra or opera company.
Tell me how often rehearsals are and more about what sort of pieces you practise and perform.
You might be short of musicians in a particular field and I know choirs often struggle to find enough tenors and basses.
So make sure you provide contact telephone numbers and I will start to try and let budding musicians know how they can get more involved.
