DVD of the Week
Snakes on a Plane
The aptly titled Snakes on A Plane comes out this week, and is perfect for the small screen.
Samuel L Jackson is the agent transporting a witness across federal borders.
Jackson is the target of the silliest and most enjoyable assassination plot hatched since Wile E Cayote tried to drop a 10-ton block on Road Runner’s head.
It was perhaps too much to see it at the cinema, but for a wintry night in, Snakes on a Plane is great fun and will have you leaping out of your seat, as Samuel L Jackson deals with the slithering reptilian threat to himself, his charge and hordes of innocent and hysterical aircraft passengers. |
