Platform set for female gaming champ hunt
THE capital’s first tournament where female computer gamers can pit their wits against each other is being staged in Holloway next weekend.
The event at the Metropolitan University, in Holloway Road on Saturday October 25, will kick-start the annual London Games Fringe, a week-long festival of interactive entertainment.
Fiona French, from the university’s faculty of computing, said: “This is an opportunity to promote London Met University as a vibrant and welcoming environment for young women.”
