Published: 17 October 2008

Our tribute to Rose

• AN evening of words and music honouring the late Rose Hacker will be held tomorrow (Saturday) at Golders Green Unitarians in Hoop Lane at 7.30pm. The evening will be compered by Bernard Miller and the words of Rose from her Tribune columns will be read by Bernard and Richenda Barbour, a friend of Rose. We shall be having songs and music from friends and admirers of Rose, Annette Jones, Liz and Andrew Tucker and pianist Margaret Lyon.
There will be a collection for the School for Peace at the village of Neve Shalom-What al-Salam in Israel and a school for street children in Kolkata.
Feargus O’Connor
