YOUR SHOUT: Blue moons nothing to worry about
Published: September 1, 2011
PULLING positives from Arsenal’s humiliating performance at Old Trafford on Sunday is harder than pulling teeth.
I keep telling myself that whether it finished 1-0 or 8-2, we still only dropped three points, but it doesn’t help.
It was, by far, my worst day as an Arsenal fan and I still don’t know how I managed to keep watching until the very end. Perhaps I was hoping for a miraculous comeback, or just keeping an eye on what points my dream team players were scoring.
The one thing I do think for sure is that the players can either wallow in the defeat, or show some fighting spirit and start getting some big wins of their own to help us forget Man United’s once-in-a-blue-moon, everything-went-in victory.
Ok, so it’s wishful thinking that we’ll forget – but at least we can be absolutely confident it ain’t gonna happen again.

Time for change
IF we had not lost so heavily on Sunday Arsene Wenger would have done nothing in the transfer market.
When this season’s fixtures first came out, I said we would get one point from the first three games. I was right.
Now let’s see if Wenger will change tactics and learn how to defend.
