IT was a challenging week for players from Kentish Town FC as they continue to adapt to life in Division One of the Spartan South Midlands League.

The Townies suffered their third defeat of the season on Tuesday when they were beaten 6-0 away at Cockfosters.

The result follows Saturday’s demoralising awayday at Cranfield United, where they lost 8-1.

John Creith’s side went into the two testing away games in confident mood after recording a thrilling 4-3 victory over Hoddesdon Town last Wednesday at Barnet Copthall Stadium.

Kentish Town are 12th in the table out of 22 teams after just five games.
