Under-10 B
A ROCKET of a free-kick from Ruben Lourenco helped Isledon Wolves net their first win of the new season on Monday. Ben Barlow was also on target as Wolves beat Chapel Boys 2-0.
The Heath also celebrated their first win as goals from Liam Campbell and Dorian Krasniqi sealed a 2-1 victory over Regent’s Park.
Under-11 A
St PANCRAS continued their unbeaten start with a thrilling 3-3 draw against Recreativo Juniors.
The Saints looked firmly in control as they opened up a two-goal lead thanks to strikes from Michael Diver and Levi Rogers. But a costly collapse saw Recreativo turn the game around to take a 3-2 lead. Saints players didn’t let their heads drop, however, and grabbed a share of the spoils when Tony Crawford headed home a late equaliser.
The draw leaves the Saints on four points following their 1-0 win over Soccerscool in their opening game which came courtesy of a composed finish from Bailey Johnston.
Under-12 A
HOTSHOT Canaan McDonald struck twice as Isledon Wolves beat Angel Islington on Friday. Ethan Irvine put in a man-of-the-match showing for Wolves, who moved top of the table with the 2-0 win.
Under-12 B
NEWLY-FORMED FC Sapo Verde made it two wins out of two with a 2-0 win over Lyndhurst on Tuesday. Oliver Bloomfield smashed home the opening goal early in the second half, before an own-goal put the result beyond any doubt.
Under-14 A
Lyndhurst made a solid start to their campaign with a comfortable win over Peel on Tuesday.
Lyndhurst made the breakthrough early in the second half when Danny Leonard added the finishing touches to a well-worked team move.
Jack Madden was man-of-the-match as Lyndhurst went on to seal a 2-0 win thanks to a neat finish from Nathan Wanzola.
