Teams sparkle in the sun as league action hots up!

PLAYERS from Primrose Hill FC sparkled in the sun on Saturday as they netted one of the biggest wins of the day in the Camden and Regent’s Park Youth League.
The free-scoring under-10s side were in unstoppable form as they beat Mi FC 8-0 to make it two wins out of two. Barnaby Lee and Matthew Knight scored two goals each, while Finlay Bell, Guy Lane, James Disney Harker and Dylan Krikier also all found the back of the net.
In the Under-11s ‘A’ Division Cen Isiksalan put on a masterclass of finishing as he scored four goals to earn Belsize Youth a 4-2 victory over Ealing Rivals.
In the same division Darnell-Joe Luke struck twice as West End netted a 2-1 victory over VVC Islington Red.
FC Sapo Verde came from a goal down to beat Hampstead Tigers in the Under-11s ‘D’ Division. Luke Poultney was the player-of-the-match as Sapo Verde won 3-1 thanks to a brace from George Karageorgis and a goal from James Shrimpton.
Nashoor Amanuel was the star of the show as Angel Islington beat rivals Chelsea Foundation.
The striker hit a fantastic hat-trick to earn Angel a convincing 3-1 win in a thrilling contest in the Under-12s ‘B’ Division.
BEYOND THE BOROUGH: Isledon Wolves hit a club record by beating London Tigers 18-0 in the Under-15s Harrow Youth League Cup. Kelsen Newell was the pick of the scorers as he netted a stunning five-goal haul.
Wolves also grabbed glory in the Under-14s London FA Youth Cup after beating Long Lane Lions in extra-time.
Trailing 2-0 at half-time, Alfie Costello struck twice as Wolves hit back to level the scores and force extra-time.
In the added on period goals from Jourdi Massueme and Daniel Leonard saw Wolves take a 4-2 lead.
Star striker Costello put the icing on the cake when he completed his hat-trick late on to seal a 5-2 victory.
