A TEAM of 30 girls from Hampstead FC are ready to play their part in the final of the UEFA Women’s Champions League at the end of the month.
The squad have been invited by FIFA to act as mascots at Fulham FC’s Craven Cottage when Olympique Lyonnais take on FFC Turbine Potsdam.
Some players from Hampstead’s under-12s (above) will be among the group treated to free tickets for the showpiece, four days after they’ve taken part in their very own final.
The girls, who were runners-up to Tottenham in the Home Counties League, face rivals Enfield Town in the League Cup final on May 22, in Luton.
