EURICO Sebastian has revealed that although he is missing his family, he’s still loving life in Nottingham.

The 16-year-old said that being away from home is “a worthwhile sacrifice” as he continues his quest to become a professional footballer.

Seb moved from his family home in Camden Road to digs near the City Ground two years ago when he signed a four-year deal with Championship side Nottingham Forest.

Talking about his move, he said: “I feel at home at Forest, my team-mates are like family and it’s a great experience.

“Of course I miss my real family. It’s really hard because I don’t get to spend much time with them. But I want a better life for them, and I know I’m getting closer to my dream.”

Seb is among a host of players to emerge from the Pro Touch Soccer Academy. More than 200 young players flooded Market Road on Wednesday when the academy held their latest open trials.
