WITH former Tottenham boss Martin Jol making a Premiership comeback at Fulham, gossip has already started regarding how he wants to be reunited with some fringe players at Spurs.

Jermain Jenas and Robbie Keane, who both have a good relationship with Jol, have been heavily mooted for a trip across the capital.

Spurs are rumoured to have had a £10million bid for Cottagers striker Moussa Dembele turned down in January and he could be used as part of any deal Jol is planning.

In a busy week of gossip, Tottenham have also been linked with West Ham’s Scott Parker, Liverpool’s Joe Cole, Lassana Diarra from Real Madrid, Espanyol’s Pablo Osvaldo and Internacional striker Leandro Damiao.

Any deals will be time-consuming, however, as Harry Redknapp has to cull his current squad first to raise funds.

Fringe players Alan Hutton, Sebastien Bassong, Wilson Palacios and David Bentley are all being tipped to leave the Lane this summer.

This week, Redknapp laughed off reports that Luka Modric could head to Manchester United in a £20million deal – and thankfully for Spurs’ fans, the player’s agent also stated publicly Modric would not be leaving the club.

There was also good news for Younes Kaboul, who made his France debut on Monday – and promptly scored against the Ukraine.
