Camden Sports Council – ‘We have money for you’
Published: 16th June, 2011
CAMDEN Sports Council is inviting people to have their say when they hold their annual meeting on Wednesday.
Keen runner and former Downing Street spokesman Alastair Campbell will be the special guest when the borough's sporting community gathers at the Talacre Community Sports Centre in Dalby Street, Kentish Town.
One of the main services provided by the sports council is the awarding of small grants (up to £500) to clubs and individuals. Even in the current financial climate chairman of the sports council John Mann insisted that “there is money to spend on the right projects” and that residents with bright ideas should attend and help shape Camden’s sporting future.
The meeting gets underway at 6.30pm.
