ARSENAL captain Cesc Fabregas has given fans a timely boost by stating he is happy to stay at the club.
The 24-year-old Spanish midfielder has long been linked with a return to boyhood club Barcelona. But this week he admitted he hasn’t made any plans to swap north London for Spain just yet.
“I am an Arsenal player. I have been very happy for eight years and am still very happy," he said. “There have been no decisions. It doesn’t always depend on the player and at the moment I don’t know anything.
“You can never say never in this life as many things happen that you can never predict.
“But I am happy where I am. Anything else would be speculation that is untrue.”
