GOALKEEPER Andy Tredgett was carried aloft by his team-mates after putting in a heroic display to earn Kings Hell Cats a place in the quarter-finals of our prestigious Camden Sunday League Challenge Cup.
The shot-stopper saved three penalties as the Division Three newcomers beat Division Two rivals Surreal Madrid on penalties.
Two goals from Alex Gill and a strike from Michael Wicks gave the Cats a slender 3-2 lead in extra-time. Tredgett looked to have done enough to earn his team victory when he saved a penalty but Madrid still managed to find a late equaliser to force a dreaded shoot-out.
Showing cat-like reflexes, Tredgett made two more acrobatic saves to earn his side a dramatic 4-3 victory.
