LORD Southampton gave rival clubs in Division One of the Camden Sunday League a glimpse of what they can expect next season when they dismantled Mayville at Hackney Marshes.
The newcomers recorded the biggest win of the weekend when they notched-up a 12-0 victory against their struggling opponents.
With Mark Dawson Pulling all the strings in midfield, top goalscorer Alexi Nicoloau capped a man-of-the-match display with six goals. Twin Stevie Nicoloau didn’t let his brother steal all the celebrations as he chipped in with two goals of his own.
On another day left back Tony Dowsett would have grabbed the headlines after helping himself to a fine hat-trick. Substitute Jake Morahan came off the bench to wrap up the rout with a stunning volley from the edge of the box.
Manager Justin Morahan said: “The lads showed what we are capable of and week by week we are improving. It’s just a sign of things to come.”
