Swiss Cottage Swimming Club enjoy success at Brighton Pier-to-Pier sea swm

MEMBERS from Swiss Cottage Swimming Club enjoyed success in the sea on Saturday when they took part in the Brighton Pier-to-Pier 1km Challenge. The combined efforts of Chris Hopton, Chris Bumby, David Josephs and Pete Kavanagh saw Camden’s land-locked men’s team win the trophy for the top club outside of Sussex.   

In the women’s event, Nari Lawrey won an award after finishing fifth overall. There were also strong swims from Fiona McWhirter, Elizabeth Knowles, Lauren Green, Susan Green, Adrian Morton, and Lucy Francis.
