The Southern League Athletics - Division Two: The London Heathside Results

THE London Heathside men’s athletes picked up a series of top-three finishes on Saturday when they wrapped up their campaign in Division Two North of the Southern League in Walthamstow.

Emmanuel Nwaobodo cruised to victory in the 200m ‘A’ race with a time of 23.6 seconds.

Nathan Cyrus also struck gold as he won the ‘A’ class triple jump with a distance of 12.91m.

In the ‘B’ team competitions Anthony Hall came home in 18mins 30.3secs to win the 5000m, while Eddie Bayne cleared 1.50m to take the high-jump.

A tremendous team effort saw London Heathside finish third on the day with 78 points, taking ninth place overall out of 16 clubs.
