JUBILANT young players from Pro Touch Soccer Academy had a cracking Easter holiday after winning their first ever trophy.

The under-9s side returned from Newquay to a heroes’ welcome following their triumphant campaign in the West Country Cup.

Goals from captain James Matthews and Raul Mills sealed a 2-1 win over Abbeymead Rovers in the final, while goalkeeper Ricardo De Matos more than played his part as he conceded just one goal in the entire tournament.
