HAMPSTEAD suffered their third defeat on the spin on Saturday when they were beaten 33-32 by St Albans in Division Two of the London North-West League.

Coach Ali Halsall was left ruing his side’s bad behaviour as Hampstead lost by a single point for the second time this season, leaving them two places above the relegation zone.

“I am beginning to sound like a broken record but our discipline again let us down,” fumed coach Halsall.

“We cannot keep 15 men on the field and our penalty count is sky high. If we sort out the penalty count then I reckon we can actually go pretty far.”

Hampstead will be looking to bounce back and secure only their second win of the season when they take mid-table rivals Imperial Medical at home on October 23.
