Dion leads goal rush in Camden & Islington Youth League

ACE striker Dion Sfarca was among the players who lit up the Camden & Islington Youth League this week at Market Road.
He hit a hat-trick as The Heath beat Admiral Youth 6-0 on Saturday in the friendly Under-8s Division. James Taylor (2) and Cameron Hannah were also on target.
In the Under-10s ‘A’ Division a great solo goal by Oliver Ellacott wasn’t enough to stop Angel Islington losing 2-1 against Recreativo on Friday.
Angel bounced back on Tuesday, , when a single strike from Joe Claire earnt a 1-0 win over St Pancras.
In the Under-10s ‘B’ Division joint leaders Chapel maintained their perfect start to the season with a 1-0 win over Hampstead. Jace Osinaike hit the game’s only goal. Jared O’Donnell was voted Chapel player-of-the-match.
In the Under-12s ‘A’ Division Angel Islington picked up their first win of the season with a 1-0 victory over Inter Markfield. Angel dominated the game throughout and got the three points they deserved thanks to a well-taken goal from Matthew O’Hara.
In the Under-13s ‘A’ Division Lyndhurst beat Hampstead 2-0 with Danny Leonard and Nathan Wanzola scoring.
Isledon Wolves are two-points clear in the Under-14s ‘B’ Division following their gutsy 2-0 win over Regent’s Park. Abul Mansaray opened the scoring before Durim Sslaminku made the points safe with a fierce drive.
In the Camden and Regent’s Park League goals from Teddy Tumbridge and Alfie Cunningham helped Islington Admiral earn a 2-2 draw Queens Park Sharks in the Under-12s Division.
In the Middlesex Cup, Mark Hagani and Tarell Watson both hit two as Hampstead progressed in the Under-11s age category. Luke Summers and Adebambo Akinjogbin also scored as Hampstead beat Halliford Colts 6-2.
Locomotive Youth were also victorious, beating Ruislip Town 4-0 in the Under-14s Cup. Lee Houghton, Kadeem Gutzmore, Shane Cojocarel and George Yianni were all on target in a barnstorming second-half display.
