STRIKER Anthony Clarke was back among the goals at the weekend as Phoenix made it four wins out of four in Division One of the Camden Sunday League.

Clarke, who lives in Kentish Town, scored a hat-trick against AFC Shooters to take his tally to 14 goals in five games.

The new recruits are also playing their part for the champions, with Gio Falzone bagging a brace and Robert O’Brien capping a man-of-the-match display with a goal. Kevin Duffy also scored as Phoenix ran out 8-1 winners against Shooters.

In Division Two runaway leaders Athletico Annies made it five straight wins by smashing eight goals past Surreal Madrid.

Martin Whitelock was Athletico’s main danger man with four goals, while Kurt Freeney scored twice. Danny Keohane and Jason Reilly also grabbed a goal each as Athletico wrapped up an 8-0 win.

The only other team boasting a perfect record in Division Two is The Constitution, who made it two wins out of two with a 2-1 victory over Brasenose.

The Cons came from a goal down to take the points thanks to strikes from Billy Evans and Seb Timmins.
