TABLE-TOPPERS ‘A’ Class continued their perfect start to the season on Friday when they beat Crown and Manor in the Under-12s ‘A’ Division of the Camden and Islington Youth League.
Goals from Cy Samuels and Harry Dean wrapped up a 2-0 win for the unstoppable side (pictured above) who have now won six games out of six at Market Road, scoring 18 goals and conceding just three in the process.
Wolves are third in the table following their thrilling 3-2 win over Angel Islington.
The player-of-the-match award went to Andrew Masons, who scored twice to help Wolves secure their third win in six games.
Giovanni Boffa was also on target for Wolves, capping a dream debut for the youngster.
In the Under-11s ‘B’ Division, a goal from Zack O’Neal helped Chapel Boys earn a 1-1 draw in their match against Lyndhurst.
Wolves climbed back to the top of the table in the Under-10s ‘A’ Division on Monday with a 3-0 win over Crown and Manor. Player-of-the-match Nathan Carlyle struck twice, while Jack Cheeseman also scored with a cheeky back-heel.
In the Under-13s ‘A’ Division, Chapel Boys beat ‘A’ Class 2-1 thanks to goals from Oliver Toms and Nicky Moir.
In the Under-14s Division, Locomotive Youth came from behind to beat Lyndhurst.
Alex Tegene, Charles Prince and Mason Brooks all scored as Locomotive turned the game around to net a 3-1 victory.
Shane Cojocarel put in a starring role, setting up two of Locomotive’s goals.
In the friendly Under-8s Division the Heath continued their fine start to the season with a 6-0 win over EC1. Cameron Hannah and James Taylor scored two goals apiece while Dion Sfarca and Jonelle Hall were also on target.
