Triumphant Town ease to victory

JACLYN Thayer led Camden Town to a commanding win over Leyton on Sunday in Division One of the Greater London Women’s League. Carmel Clinton opened the scoring, followed by a stunning individual goal from Sophie Langman. Strikes from Alex Henderson and Lisa Spirakes completed the rout as Town continued their steady climb up the table.

Defiant draw ends run of nine defeats

KENTISH Town took a much-needed point from their away match against Biggleswade United on Tuesday in the Premier Division of the Spartan South Midlands League.
Goals from Mariusz Serwin and Lee Scott saw the Townies come from 2-0 down to rescue a point, ending a run of nine straight defeats.
