DISTRICT rivals Camden and Islington could be given a dream date in the final of the Kay Trophy.

The two sides were kept apart in the semi-final draw, with Camden being handed a tough tie against South London and Islington being paired against Lewisham.

If both teams can overcome their final four opponents, it will give Camden the perfect chance to gain revenge over their neighbours after losing 1-0 in the Finch Trophy at Market Road last Wednesday.

Islington’s winner came courtesy of a magnificent individual goal from Reshawn Newland, who raced half the length of the field before finding the back of the net.

Camden were unlucky not to earn  a draw. A goal from Emmanuel Yeboah was ruled out for off-side, along with another late effort that was declared not to have crossed the goalline. Meanwhile Islington’s Dylan Bolister, James Kelly, Drew Gray-McIntyre and Cy-Samuel Clarke,  along with Camden’s Tommy Nevrkla and Joe White, have been selected to represent London.
