THE girls of Gospel Oak Primary School were rewarded for scoring 32 goals in just 11 games this week when they were crowned champions of the Northern Football League.

Organised by the Camden Schools Sports Association, the triumphant team (pictured) dominated the league, which has been running at the Talacre Community Sports Centre in Kentish Town over the past 13 weeks. Suffering just one defeat in 12 games, the Mansfield Road-based school displayed the perfect balance between defence and attack as they conceded just two goals on their way to winning the championship.
