Burgess captures triple gold at Middlesex BAGAT Championships

SWIMMERS from Camden Swiss Cottage scooped 31 medals from the Middlesex BAGAT Championships at the weekend.
Held in Enfield, a Camden contingent of 70 swimmers picked up 12 gold gongs and a series of personal best times.
The star performer was Alexander Burgess, 14, who collected gold in the 200m individual medley, the 400m freestyle and the 200m backstroke.
Scott Broadis, 15, lead the way in the breaststroke taking gold in both the 100m and 200m events. The speedy 15-year-old also picked up a bronze in the 400m individual medley.
Not to be outdone by the boys, Emily House was again in gold winning form in the girls’ 200m individual medley and the 400m freestyle. The 10-year-old also took a silver in the 100m backstroke.
