THERE’S no stopping the players from Locomotive Youth after they snapped up two summer trophies in the space of just a week.

The triumphant under-13s side beat Boundary Park on penalties in the final of the Enfield Rangers Cup on Sunday.

Keeper Olumide Sebitimo was the hero of the hour as he saved four spot kicks before netting the winner.

Boundary had proven tough opposition, twice taking the lead before being pegged-back by goals from Charles Prince.

The team, which regularly compete in the Camden and Islington Youth League, also dominated the Hayes and Yeading Summer Tournament the previous Sunday.

Locomotive ‘A’ won all seven of their games, beating White Wings 2-1 in the final thanks to a deadly double strike from Noyan Tajbakhsh.

Meanwhile the Locomotive ‘B’ team just missed out on glory in the final of the Shield competition after losing 5-3 on penalties against Brookhouse.

Manager Jamie Houghton said: “I am really pleased with all of our boys. Over the two tournaments, they showed great skill and determination to overcome some tough teams, while also displaying a good attitude.

“Everyone pulling on a Locomotive shirt did themselves and their club proud.”
