SECTIONS of the Arsenal Football Club’s Emirates Stadium will be renamed after stands in its former Highbury ground.
The colour-coded “quadrants” will become North Bank, Clock End, East Stand and West Stand.
The south bridge to Drayton Park has already been renamed Clock End Bridge and now the north bridge towards Arsenal station will be the North Bank Bridge.
The changes are part of the club’s “Arsenalisation” process – a drive to boost atmosphere in the new ground.
A clock will hang inside the south end of the stadium – in a homage to the famous Clock End stand.
Arsenal left Highbury in 2006 after 93 years at the legendary “The Home of Football” having won 13 league titles and 11 FA Cups.
