Highgate Harriers top in division one of the Southern League

THE Highgate Harriers are still riding high in Division One of the Southern League following their latest match in Luton on Saturday.
Greg Winfield recorded his fastest time in five years to win the 400m in 50.6 seconds.
Ryan McKinlay continued the winning streak as he raced to victory in his 1500m and 3000m steeplechase events.
The first-place finishes kept on coming with Ben Pochee winning the ‘A’ 5000m and Matt Dore-Weeks hitting home first in the 110m hurdles.
Team manager Matt also won the high jump ‘A’ event.
In the ‘B’ team events, Shaun Dixon won the 1500m, Pete Edmunds won the 100m and Ollie Barnett won the 110m hurdles. There were also victories for Max Pelling and Andrew Leonard.
