BELSIZE Park will be vying for top spot in the Under-10s ‘B’ Division of the Camden and Islington Youth League on Friday when they take on Crown and Manor at Market Road.

Isledon Wolves are currently a point clear at the top, and will be playing Regent’s Park on the same night.
Belsize (pictured) go into the game in confident mood having beaten Hampstead in the Challenge Cup in their previous outing. Jonny Sheves scored the only goal of the game as the Belsize boys gained revenge over Hampstead after losing to them in last season’s final.

St Pancras made it three wins out of three in the Under-9s ‘B’ Division with victory over Regent’s Park. Sol Staggs opened the scoring, before Joel Chileshe doubled the advantage with a fine solo effort. Davis Gomes rounded off a 3-0 win with his first goal for the club.

In the Under-11s ‘B’ Division, two goals from Bassam Menhal and a strike from Mark Ikua saw Isledon Wolves beat Belsize Park 3-2.

Wolves were also celebrating  in the Under-9s ‘A’ Division after beating Hampstead 5-1. Nicky Marshall struck twice, while Tony Stanford and Louis Christie also scored. The goal of the game belonged to Kyroe Omar-Brandy, whose audacious chip brought applause from all fans – including the referee.
