KENTISH Town FC will welcome Sunday’s break from league action as they turn their attentions towards their FA Cup tie against Bethnal Green United.
The Townies’ preparations for the big clash have been far from ideal as they suffered back-to-back defeats in the Premier Division of the Spartan South Midlands League.
On Saturday they lost 3-1 away at Royston Town, while on Tuesday they suffered a 4-2 defeat away at Colney Heath.
After Tuesday night’s defeat manager Rakatahr Hudson said: “It was our worst performance of the season, and we need to put it behind us and focus on the next game.
“The group is disappointed but we’re determined to bounce back and there’s no better place to start then in the FA Cup on Sunday.”
