KENTISH Town recorded a vital victory over Brimsdown Rovers on Saturday as they continue their quest to avoid relegation from the Premier Division of the Spartan South Midlands League.
The Townies twice had to come from a goal behind to finally see-off their stubborn relegation rivals.
Mickey Southam gave Brimsdown the lead, but a Lee Scott header saw Kentish Town pull the scores level.
The visitors edged in front again through Danny Saunders but, to their credit, the Townies showed tremendous resilience to pull the scores level again as Scott scored his second of the game.
James Lindsay fired the home side ahead for the first time in the game on the hour mark, before the impressive Anthony Clark made the game safe from the penalty spot to seal a
4-2 victory.
