Town look to turn tide of fortune

PLAYERS from Kentish Town Football Club will be hoping 2010 brings better luck as they look to turn their fortunes around quickly in the Premier Division of the Spartan South Midlands League.
The injury-hit side struggled in the first half of the season, winning just three of their 19 league games. Alarmingly the Townies have also conceded 67 goals, more than any other side in the division.
Following their 4-1 defeat away at Leverstock Green at the start of December manager Rakatahr Hudson revealed that Town were bolstering their squad in a bid to ease any relegation fears.
“I believe we can make big improvements in the next few weeks, this is a period of transition for us, with some new faces coming in and some real competition for places all over the pitch,” he said.
