Peel set for cup clash with leaders Phoenix

SIR Robert Peel face a tough test in the New Year when they take on free-scoring Phoenix in the quarter-finals of our Camden Sunday League Challenge Cup.
Dave Dawson, Troy Ryan, Elvyn Blackwood, Tony Dowsett and Aron Kennedy have all been among the goals as Peel beat Surreal Madrid and Crouch End Rangers to book their place in the last eight.
Now they face Division One leaders Phoenix, who have scored a staggering 17 goals in their previous two games in the prestigious competition.
The remaining quarter-final ties, which take place on January 10 following a winter break, will see Reddot take on Lord Tredegar, Field Crusaders play Cobden Athletic and CS Maritimo go up against Mostyn FC.
