LOVE or hate her, she’s a modern- day icon and one not likely to be forgotten quickly.

Lady Gaga, the lace-faced, teacup-carrying diva, whose latest stunt involved stepping out with a diamond-encrusted visage, scooped up three Brit awards on Tuesday.

So this image, taken at last year’s Glastonbury Festival by Virgilio

Ponce, may seem tame by contrast.

Or, for the true Gaga aficionados, it’s a glimpse of the eccentric singer at the turning point of her conquest of the UK.

The picture is just one of a new contemporary collection of iconic rock’ n’roll images stocked by Rockarchive in Islington High Street, Angel.

The collection, launched this month, features 30 exclusive images taken since 2000 by top photographers featuring the cream of a new rock’n’roll generation including Kasabian, Florence and the Machine, Dizzee Rascal and Kings of Leon.

The collection also includes classic artists such as Neil Young, the Rolling Stones and Leonard Cohen.

Each print is 12-inch square and printed on archival photographic paper in editions of 300.

Prints are numbered and captioned and packaged in stylish, embossed white “album sleeves” – with sleeve notes on the back.

Images £49.99 unframed or £99 framed, from Rockarchive Gallery, 110 Islington High Street, N1, or www.rockarchive.com • 020 7704 0598
