Man stabbed in Camden High Street

A MAN is being treated for life threatening injuries after suffering stab wounds in Camden High Street.
The cyclist was seen falling from his bike outside the Cobden Arms and police attended at around 1.20pm (Friday).
Witnesses said the man, in his 30s, had stabbed himself with a kitchen knife although this has not been officially confirmed by police.
A police cordon was set up around a pool of blood and bandage but the main road was not closed. Passers by were informed by police on the scene that the attack was not "gang-related".
A LAS spokeswoman: "We were called at 1.25pm to an incident on Camden High Street. We sent an ambulance crew and a motorcycle responder and duty officer to the scene. Our staff treated one patient, a man in his 30's, and took him to hospital."
A Met Police spokesman said enquiries into the circumstances of the stabbing are ongoing.
