Body found on Hampstead Heath

A BODY was found on Hampstead Heath this morning by dog walkers.  Police were called and found the dead man at 9am this morning near Well Walk.

A police spokeswoman said: "Police in Camden were called this morning to attend East Heath Road / Well Walk NW3 at approximately 09:00 hours. On arrival police found a deceased man. London Ambulance Service also attended. Enquiries continue."

A London Ambulance spokeswoman said: "At ten to nine we were called to East Heath Road to reports of a incident there - we sent once ambulance and two cars but sadly a man was found dead at the scene."
