Pinnacle PSG awarded new £22.5m homes deal ‘to save money’

CITY Hall has awarded private company Pinnacle PSG a £22.5million contract to manage half its housing stock.
The council says the five-year contract, which will begin next month, forms part of a housing management restructure to save residents £500,000.
Pinnacle will manage 10,000 council properties and the remaining half will be directly managed by CityWest Homes.
Pinnacle PSG has worked with the council and CityWest for 16 years, most recently delivering housing management and estate services in two areas – Churchill Gardens and Bayswater.
• WESTMINSTER Council is no longer considering relocating from City Hall to nearby Eland House.
Last month chief executive Mike More said the idea was under consideration – but this week he ruled it out, saying such a move “would not offer enough savings to justify the potential upheaval involved”. The council would continue to be based at 64 Victoria Street, until at least the end of next year.
