Paddington Academy dancers dazzle

BUDDING dancers from Paddington Academy busted a move during a show-stopping performance for staff, parents and nearby residents.

The concert, a year in the preparation, featured more than 50 students and styles including jazz, contemporary, street, hip-hop and African dance.

Performers from the school in Marylands Road have featured in numerous sold-out shows and recently scooped the prize for “best curtain-raiser performance” at the London Contemporary Dance School. 

Year 11 Dance student Kayleigh Brennan said: “The dance department here at Paddington Academy has given me the chance to perform in front of large audiences and at some of the biggest and best venues in London. I feel very privileged to be part of such a successful and exciting dance group.”
