TALENTED trio Lyla Heaven, Sara Casella and Aaliyah Princess showed off their creative skills when they designed their own bags at the Rosary Primary School Summer Fair.

The girls were among countless pupils who were happy to spend their Saturday having fun at the school in Haverstock Hill, Belsize Park, despite the unsettled weather.

In sharp contrast to the gloomy skies, visitors were in upbeat mood as international foods, strawberries and cream, a bouncy castle, face-painting and a tombola helped them forget about the rain. Headteacher Isobel Gaffney, who recently celebrated her 25th year in charge at the school, said: “I was delighted with how the day turned out. We’re an outstanding school and it was an outstanding day. The money raised is going towards some much-needed refurbishing of our nursery.”
